  • Selecting Data
  • Saving Selections as Separate Tables

  • SQL Select command

Creating and Editing Data

  • Creating new tables
  • Introduction to the Editing buttons
  • The role of the Style Buttons and Selections in Editing
  • Reshaping and Smoothing Polylines and Regions
  • Adding and linking data using Browsers
  • Registering an Image
  • Case Study 1# Using Base data for Map Creation

Data Manipulation and Sharing

  • The table structure and the update column command
  • Renaming, Deleting, and Packing files
  • Import/Export Tables
  • Using Thematic Maps

Outputs

  • Using the clipboard to share data with other applications
  • Exporting Map and Graph images to other applications
  • Using the Layout window
